Columbus – The Mount Carmel Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of three new members to its Board of Trustees. Su Lok, David Montgomery and Joyce Brand began their terms on January 1, 2013 and attended their first meeting March 5.
“Our Foundation Board of Trustees is indeed very fortunate to have attracted the talents of Su, David and Joyce.” said Doug Stein, President of the Foundation. “All three trustees are committed to the ideals and mission of Mount Carmel and have built impressive professional networks in the local community.”
Lok is the director of Corporate and Community Partnerships with The Scott Miracle-Gro Company; she was elected as the vice chair of the board and will serve on the Executive Committee and Nominating and Governance Committee. Montgomery is a national software engineering executive with the Hewlett Packard Company and will serve on the Allocations Committee. Brand is the service line administrator of Women’s Health for the Mount Carmel Health System. She is a co-chair of the Community Health Resource Center Steering Committee. Lok, Montgomery and Brand will serve three-year terms.
The Mount Carmel Foundation is an Ohio 501(c)(3) and serves as the sole fundraising entity for Mount Carmel Health System. The Foundation is dedicated to funding programs that help thousands of people in the Central Ohio get the care and services they deserve.
