Mount Carmel Assumes Ownership of Urgent Care in Grove City
Start Date

Columbus - Mount Carmel Health System has become the sole owner of an urgent care facility in Grove City, located at the intersection of I-71 and State Route 665.

In addition to new management, the facility, formerly known as Grove City Urgent Care, has a new name: Mount Carmel Urgent Care.

The urgent care also has extended its hours and now is accepting more insurance plans to better meet the needs of the community. The center is open to treat non-life threatening medical issues for adults and children on weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on weekends.

“We are excited to announce new management for our Mount Carmel Urgent Care,” said Janet Beck, executive director of ambulatory services for Mount Carmel. “The center offers quality care when patients are unable to see their physician or do not have a primary care doctor.”

Construction remains on schedule for the Mount Carmel Grove City Medical Center on Hoover Road near the intersection of I-71 and SR 665. Set to open in 2014, the center will be an integrated medical campus featuring a free-standing emergency department and an adjacent medical office building.
