Mount Carmel New Albany Honored for Patient Satisfaction and Quality
Columbus - Mount Carmel New Albany has been honored with the Press Ganey “Summit Award” for patient satisfaction and named a “Top Performer on Key Quality Measures” by The Joint Commission. This is the hospital’s seventh consecutive Summit Award and second Top Performer award.
“These awards are continuing evidence of the sustained commitment of Mount Carmel New Albany associates and physicians to providing outstanding care and excellence in the care experience for our patients and their families,” said Claus von Zychlin, President and Chief Executive Officer of Mount Carmel Health System.
The Summit Award is sponsored by Press Ganey Associates, which administers patient satisfaction surveys for hospitals and healthcare systems and provides national comparative databases. This award is given to hospitals that receive a patient satisfaction score in the 95th percentile for three consecutive years.
The “Top Performer” award is given by the Joint Commission for hospitals for attaining and sustaining excellence in accountability measure performance.
