Experience
I worked as a pharmacy technician/intern for over five years at Barnesville Hospital and as an intern at Rite Aid Pharmacy for two years. Some of my extern experiences include: Indian Health Services in Whiteriver, AZ; Cardiac ICU at Riverside Methodist Hospital; Athens Rural Rotation; Martha Morehouse General Internal Medicine Clinic.
Areas of interest
Rural healthcare; academia; infectious disease and antimicrobial stewardships; community outreach.
Future goals
After completing a residency, I would like to become a part of an antimicrobial stewardship team and assist in the development of new programs. Over the span of my pharmacy career I would also like to work on community outreach programs, teach at a college of pharmacy, and serve as a preceptor for pharmacy students.
