Jaren D. Bombach, M.D.
We are pleased to honor the distinguished service of Jaren D. Bombach, M.D. by naming him a Mount Carmel Physician of the Year for 2011.
Dr. Jaren Bombach graduated from the Ohio State University College of Medicine in 1975. He went on to complete his Orthopedic Internship and Residency at Mount Carmel Medical Center in 1980. This included a one-year rotation in pediatric orthopedics at Columbus Children’s Hospital. Dr. Bombach joined the medical staff of Mount Carmel Health in December, 1980.
Dr. Bombach quickly began his tenure as a physician who was very involved in the medical staff structure of Mount Carmel East. His first appointment was to the Central Continuing Education Committee in 1980. He continued with appointments to the Subcommittee for Blood and Tissue Review, Central Special Care Units Committee, Special Trauma Committee, De-Central Medical Education Committee, Orthopedic Nurse/Physician Liaison Committee, De-Central Special Care Units Committee, Central Medical Records Committee, De-central Trauma Committee, and Surgical Administrative Committee. In recent years, Dr. Bombach was a valued member of the Medical Staff Quality Committee at Mount Carmel East Hospital.
Dr. Bombach served as Chairman of the Surgical Administrative Committee from 1990 – 1995. He served as Chairman of the Department of Orthopedics at Mount Carmel East from 1994 – 1997. |
