An internist who is board certified in general internal medicine and infectious diseases, he has been active in the Internal Medicine residency for over 25 years. He attends regularly on the general medicine inpatient teaching service and the infectious diseases consultation service. Dr. Parsons has been selected as the Department of Internal Medicine’s Teacher of the Year twice since joining the faculty. His non-medical interests include other cultures, languages, and the history of World War II.
