A request for fee waiver may be made prior to protocol submission to the Human
Subject Protection Office if the protocol is one of the following:
- NIH grant or other government sponsored study
- Investigator study without pharmaceutical or device company support
- Academic study (Residents/Nursing student/Other faculty thesis)
To ensure proper billing, please make the Human Subject Protection Office aware of the individual within the sponsoring company to whom bills for the protocol should be mailed.
