referrals are to the success of your practice, so we've developed several key
ways to assist your practice growth efforts.
Physician
Directory
Mount Carmel has a physician directory
available in hard copy and electronic formats. The hard copy version is
distributed to physician offices. View the real-time physician directory. As a Mount Carmel physician, you are
automatically entered into this search feature.
All physicians must have their
pictures taken for the directory by Mount Carmel's photographer. Your ID photo
cannot be used. Call 614-234-5863 to schedule an appointment. There is no
charge for physicians.
Physician
Referral Service
Our Physician Referral Service is not only
a way to feed referrals to your practice, but also to connect you with
respected specialists. Mount Carmel HealthCall at 614-234-LIFE is
available Monday through Friday 8 a.m.-8 p.m. to link you and your patients with
Mount Carmel affiliated primary care physicians and specialists. Our referral
database includes more than 650 physicians with a wide range of medical and
surgical specialties.
Since not all of our physicians are
accepting new patients, you must sign-up to be included in the database. Call
614-234-5711 for a Referral Service Application.
HealthProviders
Mount Carmel employs over 80 physician
practices, including family practice, internal medicine, geriatric, neurology,
neurosurgery and vascular physicians. These practices, located throughout
greater Columbus, refer to Mount Carmel physicians and help ensure continuity
of patient care. Locate a HealthProviders practice or call 614-546-4424 for specific information related to HealthProviders.
New
Physician Newsletter
The Mount Carmel medical staff receives a
quarterly New Physician Newsletter that profiles recent additions to the
medical staffs. Physicians new to the system are featured with a photo, profile
and office location information.
Networking Events
Mount Carmel hosts physician receptions
regularly, and you're encouraged to attend to meet your peers and develop a
referral network. Receptions are open to all affiliated campus physicians.
