As women transition to menopause, they may experience symptoms like hot flashes, fatigue, mood changes, sleep problems, and bone loss. Menopausal symptoms can often be controlled through diet, exercise, relaxation techniques, and other therapies, and our nurse practitioner can offer counseling and helpful suggestions about all of these options. We also have a library of books and other resources of interest to mid-life women, including information on hormone replacement therapy, nutrition, osteoporosis, heart health, and other topics. Plus, we offer classes on stress management, yoga, nutrition, and more — all of which can minimize menopausal symptoms while contributing to long-term health and well-being.
