Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass Surgery
Weight Loss: 192 pounds
“I’m back riding roller coasters again.”
I have rheumatoid arthritis and the medications I was taking had some serious side effects. My weight made it worse. The only way to reduce my medications – and to go from just breathing to really living – was to lose weight. Since the surgery my arthritis flare ups have gone into remission, and I’m down to two drugs from my previous six. And I’m back riding roller coasters again. And that’s what I call really living.
