Located in northeast Columbus, Mount Carmel St. Ann's in Westerville is a community hospital with the clinical capabilities of facilities far larger. With a state-of-the-art emergency department, maternity center and cancer center, patients are able to get a personal healthcare experience without sacrificing quality of care.

Expanding Hospital & Services

Growth has been a theme at our Westerville hospital, where multiple new facilities have been added and renovations undertaken in the past several years. That theme will continue in the short term as we invest $110 million in more new facilities and equipment to turn Mount Carmel St. Ann’s into a full-service regional medical center. Over the next few years, we’ll be introducing open-heart surgery capabilities; adding a new tower for cardiovascular, orthopedic and spine patients; constructing a new main entrance; renovating our kitchen and dining facilities; and improving roads and parking on and around campus. The work has already begun with two goals in mind: better serving our patients and continuing to meet the community’s healthcare needs now and in the future.

Facility Features

One of the campus' newest buildings, the Mount Carmel St. Ann's Maternity Pavilion is the only hospital building in the Columbus area designed and utilized exclusively for maternity care. It welcomes nearly 5,000 deliveries per year and includes a Level III special care nursery. The recently renovated emergency department sees 72,000 visits per year, and the hospital itself features 11 state-of-the-art operating rooms and dedicated angio and cath labs. Our Westerville hospital’s campus also boasts a dedicated Women's Health Center and a Cancer Center offering outpatient infusion and radiation therapy services.
