The Department of CME is pleased to offer online enduring materials to Mount Carmel medical staff members. Online CME is an interactive experience that includes reading, test-taking, and evaluation. Most online CME activities take 1-2 hours to complete, and proper completion of online CME will earn Mount Carmel physicians category 1 credit. Radiation Safety for the Medical Staff - CME Hours: 2
Radiologists, cardiologists, urologists, podiatrists, plastic surgeons, colon-rectal surgeons, endocrinologists, gastroenterologists, nephrologists, neurosurgeons, oral surgeons, cardio/thoracic surgeons, and general surgeons. Mount Carmel and The Ohio Department of Health mandate that many members of the healthcare community participate in radiation safety training. The purpose of this activity is to equip participants with radiation safety rules and operating procedures to protect themselves and others while utilizing fluoroscopy.
