Mount Carmel is one of
the area's foremost providers of Magnetic Resonance Mammography or breast MRI, a new and powerful technology that provides a clearer picture of dense breast
tissue, tissue surrounding breast implants and small areas of cancer that may
escape detection in a mammogram.
Our dedicated
breast MRI program has more than 50 trained radiologists and three dedicated
breast MRI readers.
And thanks to our
designation as a national show site for GE, Mount Carmel
has access to the very best and latest technology, including specialized
equipment, cutting-edge training and advanced computer analysis.
