Cancer Risk Program
The Mount Carmel Cancer Risk Program helps patients assess, understand and reduce their risk of developing cancer. Through a comprehensive assessment of a patient's personal and family medical history and/or genetic testing, our program provides useful and specific information that can determine risk, suggest risk reduction steps and help patients make informed choices about further medical management or testing.

Our expert risk assessment and genetics team includes physicians, genetic counselors, a risk assessment nurse and an intake coordinator. Clinical genetics expertise is available at Mount Carmel through a partnership with The James Cancer Hospital & Solove Research Institute of The Ohio State University Medical Center.
