Any of the following signs need to be reported to your doctor, midwife or clinic.
Call now if you have:
- Bright red vaginal bleeding
- A trickle or gush of fluid from the vagina
- Pains or cramps in the abdomen
- Constant or severe headache
- Blurred vision or spots before your eyes
- Sudden or increased swelling around your eyes
- Sudden or increased swelling of hands, feet or face
- Fainting
- A fever above 102°
- Regular contractions, getting stronger and closer together
- Not urinated in 12 hours
- Less baby movements than usual
Call today if you have:
- Fever above 100°
- Chills that do not go away
- Severe nausea and vomiting; not able to keep food down for 24 hours
- Burning or frequent urination; urge to urinate but cannot
- Foul-smelling urine or vaginal discharge
- Itching or burning of the vagina
- Sudden weight gain of more than 2 pounds, not related to overeating
- Increased swelling of hands or feet
