Mount Carmel Outreach is dedicated to the health of everyone in our community. That’s why Mount Carmel Outreach provides breast health education to Somali women in places of comfort, including homes and community centers.
Through the outreach program we provide educational material on breast self exams, mammogram and other health-related topics. We also teach participants about breast health risks, how to do a breast self exam, and when and how to make mammogram appointments. We even make follow-up phone calls to ensure appointments are met and answer additional questions. Discretion is always used.
