There is growing evidence that calm interaction between humans and horses benefit the emotional and spiritual life of the people involved. Thanks to the generous support of the Mount Carmel Foundation and Dr. Gerald J. Girardi, Mount Carmel is piloting a unique program for women with ovarian cancer that unities a learning and support group with horses.
