Community Outreach Program Welcomes New Mobile Medical Coach |

Thanks to thousands of dollars in grants and donations from individuals, families, corporations and organizations across the community, the Mount Carmel Foundation has funded a brand new Mobile Medical Coach for Mount Carmel’s Community Outreach Program. The state-of-the-art motor coach is a doctor’s office on wheels that travels to sites around the city providing free urgent and ongoing medical care and social services to more than 3,200 patients in need each year. Thanks to the coach and the Mount Carmel medical professionals who staff it, more uninsured patients and their families will receive the medical check-ups, immunizations, treatment, screenings and counseling services they need.
