Mount Carmel St. Ann’s To Develop Full-Service Heart Center
Mount Carmel has announced that it will invest $100 million over the next three to five years to expand Mount Carmel St. Ann’s and develop a full-service heart center at the hospital. In addition to creating more than 200 jobs, the expansion of cardiovascular services will meet a growing need for expert heart care in Westerville and the surrounding communities.

This expansion comes in response to requests from physicians, EMS providers and residents seeking complete heart services closer to home. The new heart center will offer a wide range of state-of-the-art cardiovascular services, including diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, interventional cardiology services like angioplasty, non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic testing, electrophysiology services, and peripheral vascular diagnostic and interventional services. An open-heart surgery program is planned as well.

Though building our state-of-the-art heart center will take time, you won’t have to wait for exceptional heart specialists and services at Mount Carmel St. Ann’s. Many will be available this fall, with more to come soon. It’s just one more way Mount Carmel St. Ann’s is your complete hospital in Westerville.
