The Gift of GRACE
Patients diagnosed with breast cancer at Mount Carmel are now given a Gund® bear named GRACE. It is our hope that GRACE brings these patients comfort as they heal, the assurance of hope and the promise of support in the years to come.

GRACE is an extension of Mount Carmel’s Breast Health Nurse Navigation Program. The program provides breast cancer patients with access to nurses that can answer pressing, cancer-related questions and also act as familiar and informed advocates to facilitate treatment.

GRACE represents:

Guidance for our breast cancer patients.
Respect for those in our care.
Advocacy evidenced by our presence and ongoing support.
Compassion and caring for those we serve.
Excellence in every aspect of the care we provide.

The feedback from recipients has been remarkable. They have been openly thankful to have received the gift of GRACE. These gifts are made possible through funding from the Mount Carmel Foundation. The generosity of individuals and families will enable these gifts to continue. If you would like to contribute to the Foundation and earmark your donation for GRACE, please call 614-546-4500 or visit mountcarmelfoundation.org
