Each year healthcare industry analyst Thomson Reuters conducts a national hospital study of heart attack, heart failure, angioplasty and bypass outcomes. The 100 hospitals achieving the highest scores in those key areas of care are named Thomson Reuters 100 Top Hospitals® Cardiovascular Benchmarks award winners. Once again, that list includes both Mount Carmel East and Mount Carmel West. That makes Mount Carmel one of the best places in the nation to be treated for heart disease. And, for those of us in central Ohio, one of the most convenient as well.
