Mount Carmel College of Nursing adds 5 to board, including Mary Jo Hudson

Former Ohio Insurance Director Mary Jo Hudson is among five new trustees of Mount Carmel College of Nursing.
Hudson, an attorney, practices health-care and insurance law in the corporate practice of Columbus law firm Bailey Cavalieri LLC. Prior to her term leading the Ohio Department of Insurance from 2008-11, she spent four years on Columbus City Council.
Also joining the 23-member board at the college, part of Mount Carmel Health System:
Dr. Craig Anderson, founder of Central Ohio Newborn Medicine Inc., who directs newborn medicine at Mount Carmel West and practices at OhioHealth Grant Medical Center. He’s a past president of both the Columbus Medical Association and Ohio State Medical Association.
Geraldine Bednash, CEO of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing, with 700 member schools.
Tanya Hahn, managing director leading the hospital and senior-living finance practice in the Columbus office of Robert W. Baird & Co.
Joseph Hamrock, executive vice president and group CEO of Merrillville, Ind.-based NiSource Inc.’s (NYSE:NI) gas distribution business, and previously chief operating officer for Ohio operations of Columbus-based American Electric Power Company Inc. (NYSE:AEP).
