About Us

Answering the call to serve our community, the Mount Carmel Foundation was founded in 1984 as an Ohio 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to funding the mission-driven health and education programs and services provided through the Mount Carmel Health System. Our funding priorities are our colleagues, clinicians and the poor and underserved in central Ohio.

Thanks to your generosity, thousands have received the care they deserve. The Mount Carmel Foundation has been able to support the critical healthcare needs of the central Ohio community for nearly four decades. Over the past 6 years alone, we have provided more than $43 million in funding to 900 programs, reaching 100,000 people each year.

Mission Statement

We serve together in the spirit of the Gospel as a compassionate and transforming healing presence within our communities. The Mount Carmel Foundation stewards contributions in support of the Mount Carmel Health System, bringing hope, healing and compassionate healthcare to those in need. In extension, we share the same vision and core values as the Mount Carmel Health System.
