Kathryn Gardner, MD


Dr. Kathryn G. Gardner is a radiologist on the staff at Radiology Incorporated. She has served as the Secretary of the Executive Committee and as a member of the Recruiting Committee there.

Dr. Gardner received an A.B. with honors in biomedical ethics at Brown University and her M. D. from Case Western Reserve University. She was a Diagnostic Radiology Resident at the Cleveland Clinic and a Fellow/Clinical Associate in Cross- Sectional/Body Imaging/Mammography at The Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Prior to her employment at Radiology Incorporated, she served as an Intern at the National Institutes of Health in The Office for Protection from Research Risks and as a Congressional Intern for The Honorable John M. Ashbrook in the United States House of Representatives.

Dr. Gardner previously served in the same capacity at Mount Carmel St. Ann's as well as the Medical Director of St. Ann's Vascular Lab.

Very active in the American College of Radiology, she has served as a Councilor, Treasurer, President-Elect and President of the organization's Ohio Radiological Society. In addition to her teaching activities, she has served as a member of the Ohio Governor's Radiation Advisory Council and on the Ohio Radiation-Generating Equipment Committee.

A dedicated, long-term supporter of the Foundation, Dr. Gardner served as Chairman of the 2010 Champagne and Diamonds event. She has also served on the Mount Carmel Physician Philanthropy Committee. She received the Chairman's Award from the Foundation Board of Trustees for her service to the Foundation.
