Mark Hackman, MD
Dr. Mark Hackman has been a physician at Mount Carmel East since 1985. He is a practicing internist with Canyon Medical Center, a primary care practice on the Mount Carmel East campus, since 1986.
Dr. Hackman earned his Bachelor of Science degree in psychology at The Ohio State University and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo. He served his internship and residency at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
Currently, he is the Physician Advisor for MCE, he was the Chief Medical Officer/Vice President Medical Affairs for Mount Carmel East for over 20 years. Dr. Hackman has previously served as Chair of the Department of Medicine, Clinical Department Chair and President of the Medical Staff for Mount Carmel.
Externally, he also serves as Associate Director of MediGold, Mount Carmel's Medicare Advantage Plan; and has served as a member of the editorial board of the American Journal of Quality Medicine.
Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Hackman is also a member of the American College of Physicians, the American College of Physician Executives, the Franklin County Medical Society and the Ohio State Medical Association.
