Mount Carmel Heart & Vascular Center wants you to get better, faster. That's why we now offer a centrally located cardiac walk-in clinic in the Columbus region. New and existing patients are welcome.

Same-Day Cardiac Walk-In Clinics

  • Accessible same-day care for non-life-threatening cardiac symptoms, including:
  • Chest discomfort (pain, pressure, fullness)
  • Shortness of breath
  •  Leg swelling
  • Heart palpitations or rapid heart rate
  • Elevated blood pressure
  • Need for cardiac assessment prior to urgent surgery

    • You will have direct access to our medical expertise and state-of-the-art diagnostic testing, including echocardiogram, electrocardiogram (EKG or ECG), and stress testing. We will then work with patient’s referring physician to develop or update a plan for treatment that is suited to meet your individual needs.

     
    Patients can expect short wait times. Most major insurance plans are accepted. Regardless of the diagnosis, when higher-level care is needed, walk-in patients have direct access to world-class follow-up care through Mount Carmel Health System’s family of healthcare services.
     
    The walk-in clinic is recommended for patients with symptoms that need to be evaluated in a timely manner but are not necessarily life-threatening or emergent.
