Mount Carmel Health System announced today the appointment of Andy Priday, CPA, FACHE, MHA, MAcc, to Chief Financial Officer.

“Andy brings a wealth of institutional knowledge to this position. He has nearly 20 years of experience leading financial improvements, building teams and enhancing operational performance,” said Lorraine Lutton, president and CEO at Mount Carmel. “I am confident that his extensive experience combined with his passion for leading by example, collaborating and making forward-thinking, data-driven decisions will drive Mount Carmel forward for the patients we serve.”

Priday joined Mount Carmel in 2013 as director of finance operations and has served in a variety of financial and operational leadership roles during his time with the health system. His work to date has helped identify and implement financial improvements to support high-quality patient care. Some of Priday's notable accomplishments include identifying and implementing financial improvements that have led to more than $100 million in savings. He also has implemented more than $1 million of productivity improvements through process redesign.

Prior to coming to Mount Carmel, he held financial positions at King’s Daughters Health System and Memorial Health focused on improving financial health, planning and reporting, as well as managing productivity processes to improve operating expenses.

Priday currently serves as a board member for the Mount Carmel Rehabilitation Hospital and Madison Health. He received an Accounting and Finance degree and a Master of Accountancy degree from Miami University. He also received a Master of Healthcare Administration degree from Ohio University.
