Dr. Carlson received his medical degree from University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and then went on to complete his internship and residency at University of Cincinnati Internal Medicine-Pediatrics. He is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and by the American Board of Pediatrics. His special interests include Adolescent Care, Asthma/COPD, Diabetes, Geriatrics, Men's Health, Nutrition, Pediatrics & Newborn Care, Preventive Health, and Women's Health.

Dr.Carlson is a very compassionate physician. He is a great listener, thorough clinician, and judgement free zone. He is encouraging and supportive. As a parent he provides me opportunities to ask and answer questions but his interaction with my child and building their trust is Dr. Carlson’s priority. That to me is exceptional.
