During the pandemic, soup kitchens and resource centers closed. With our community clinics on hold, Street Medicine knew they had to change the way they cared for our most vulnerable. Instead of going to camps two days a week, they started going five days a week and began delivering food directly to the homeless. In the past year, our team handed out more than 28,000 lunches, which is incredible! “60 Minutes” recognized the impact our team has on our community and deservedly showcased them Sunday evening.
