We’re bringing breast cancer screening to where it’s most needed
October reminds us of the countless women and families whose lives have been touched by breast cancer — and of the lifesaving power of early detection. At Mount Carmel, we believe every woman deserves access to timely, compassionate, high quality screening, no matter her circumstances or ZIP code.
That’s why Mount Carmel is launching a fundraising effort to bring a new Mobile Mammography Coach to central Ohio. This modern, fully equipped coach will deliver convenient, comfortable, and reliable mammography services directly to neighborhoods where barriers to care are highest. By meeting women where they are — at community centers, workplaces, churches and partner organizations — we can help ensure that early detection is within reach for everyone.
The new coach will expand access, reduce delays in diagnosis and provide peace of mind to thousands of women each year. It represents Mount Carmel’s commitment to health equity and to supporting patients long before they ever walk through our doors.
