Mount Carmel St. Ann’s Recognized on Forbes’ Inaugural Top Hospitals List
December 17, 2025
Mount Carmel St. Ann’s has been recognized on Forbes’ inaugural Top Hospitals 2026 list, earning an overall ranking of four stars among the nation’s best-performing hospitals.
To create this first-of-its-kind ranking, Forbes partnered with Inovalon, a leading healthcare data and analytics firm, along with nationally recognized experts in measurement, health policy, and patient advocacy. The methodology was built on validated quality measures from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Provider Data Catalog, which assesses critical aspects of care such as patient outcomes, hospital best practices, value, and patient experience.
Patient outcomes, including readmission rates, infection rates, and mortality, were weighted most heavily, reflecting their significant impact on quality of care. Additionally, Forbes adjusted outcome measures to account for social drivers of health, such as income and access to transportation, ensuring fair comparisons across hospitals serving diverse communities.
Starting with more than 5,400 general acute care hospitals, Forbes narrowed the list to approximately 2,500 that met inclusion criteria. Of those, 762 hospitals earned a spot on the Top Hospitals list. Mount Carmel St. Ann’s is proud to be among the hospitals recognized for excellence.
“This recognition underscores our commitment to putting patients first in everything we do,” said Dr. Timothy Graham, Mount Carmel St. Ann’s President. “Every decision we make is guided by the goal of delivering safe, high-quality care and an exceptional experience for our patients.”
