Jeremy Daugherty, BSN, RN, CNOR, Director of Surgical Services at Mount Carmel Grove City, has faced cancer three times — and each time, he turned to Mount Carmel.
His journey began 25 years ago with a brain tumor that required surgery and rehabilitation at Mount Carmel East. A recurrence brought him back four years later. In 2022, he was diagnosed with colon cancer and underwent radiation, IV chemotherapy, and additional treatments. Then in 2024, he faced a third brain tumor and once again relied on Mount Carmel’s surgical and radiation teams.
Through every diagnosis, Jeremy found strength in his wife and in the caregivers who guided him through each step. “I would get care nowhere else,” he says. “We have the best people — especially our doctors, nurse navigators, and radiation team. Their sole purpose is to help you get better.”
Cancer changes everything, and patients need a team they trust — one that answers questions, eases fears, and helps them reclaim their health one day at a time. Philanthropy makes that possible.
The Mount Carmel Foundation supports advanced treatments, patient navigation, comfort programs, and resources that ease the burden of cancer for patients like Jeremy. “Having the amazing care that I had is what I hope every patient receives,” he says. “You can help make that possible.”
Your gift to the Cancer Services Fund ensures every patient who walks through our doors receives exceptional, compassionate care when they need it most. You can stand with cancer warriors today.
