NBC4: Dublin hospital security guard rescues ducklings from storm drain

A Mount Carmel Dublin safety and security officer is being praised after helping a few very small visitors out of a big problem.

Over the weekend, Christopher Casey discovered several baby ducks trapped inside a storm drain on hospital grounds.

While it’s Casey’s job to keep patients, visitors and staff safe, hospital officials said his compassion extended to some feathered friends in need.
