Now, we’re proud to announce that all three Mount Carmel birthing hospitals — Mount Carmel St. Ann’s, Mount Carmel East, and Mount Carmel Grove City — have officially earned the prestigious Baby-Friendly® designation from Baby-Friendly USA.

This honor places Mount Carmel among just 486 hospitals nationwide recognized for meeting the highest standards of care for infant feeding and mother-baby bonding — based on evidence-based practices recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) and United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF).

The Baby-Friendly® designation is a reflection of our ongoing commitment to providing every mother with the education, resources, and support she needs to give her baby the best, healthiest start in life — while respecting each woman’s informed choices.
