Shopping

Grove City's Olde Town is a thriving, artsy, historical downtown center. Located in the heart of Grove City, it contains a variety of unique shops, services and art-filled atmospheres. It's an eclectic mix of boutiques and antiques that are best enjoyed on foot. And if all that shopping wears you out, you can always visit one of the many nearby dining options or treat yourself to one of the local salons or spas.

Culture

While the Olde Town area is considered Grove City's art hub, local art can be seen everywhere, including eight parking sculptures and three private murals. These unique pieces are the result of an award-winning sculpture signage program that’s received national attention. It’s all thanks to a unique local program that allows youths from George Junior Republic to submit, design and build art pieces to represent the power of local art in the community. In addition, Grove City has a non-profit gallery called ArtWorks that holds performances and displays local art work. ArtWorks also has community classes to help everyone find their inner artist.

And there’s never a shortage of community events, including outdoor concerts, farmers’ markets, the Art Walk and Winter Wine Walk.

Parks and Paths

Grove City is committed to the development of public green spaces for the entire community. The Parks and Recreation department maintains three signature parks, a destination garden, the senior center, a family water park, a skate park, eight playgrounds and numerous athletic fields and paths. And there are a variety of community-run adult and youth sports programs for athletes of all ages

Parks and Recreation also strives to assist working parents and help get kids outdoors and active with a before- and after-school childcare program (P.A.R.K.) and a preschool (RecSchool).
