Get Ready for Medicaid Renewals

Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program coverage is changing. Re-enrollment for Ohio Medicaid and Healthy Start starts April 1, 2023.

Don’t lose your health coverage. Follow these steps:

Make sure Ohio Medicaid or Healthy Start have your current contact information.

Check your mail for a status letter from the state.

Complete your renewal form right away (if you get one).

Don’t delay. Be sure your contact information is current. 

If you lose or are denied Ohio Medicaid or Healthy Start coverage, you can apply for affordable coverage at Healthcare.gov. You must apply within 60 days of losing coverage.
