By serving as a resource, advocate and friend, they provide the education and guidance you need should you receive abnormal breast cancer screening results.  That includes:

• Providing you with information and education about the screening process and your results
• Assuring you get timely access to a diagnostic evaluation or biopsy, if needed
• Educating you about additional breast imaging studies you may need
• Communicating with your doctor should you need further diagnostic evaluation and or breast biopsy
• Putting you and your family in touch with helpful resources inside and outside Mount Carmel
• Connecting you with an Oncology Navigator should you need one
• Connecting patients who may have financial barriers to care with resources.
